Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of nateui.com, the free component library, the NateUI CLI, the hosted MCP server, agent skills, and paid NateUI plans. Purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. By using NateUI or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you buy for a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

Free library (MIT License)

Fundamental ui components are open source under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and ship them in personal and commercial projects without an account. The public CLI, agent skill, and anonymous MCP server access are also provided free of charge within their published rate limits.

Paid plans and Pro license

On purchase of Basic or All-Access, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the Pro component layers (composites, layouts, patterns, and blocks) together with the template or templates covered by your plan. Basic includes one template (either pre-selected at checkout or permanently chosen once in your dashboard); All-Access includes every template.

A Personal license covers one named developer and one production end-product. A Team license covers unlimited developers and unlimited production end-products within a single organization, including client deliverables (where the client receives rights to use the delivered end-product, not to redistribute NateUI source). Separate companies require separate licenses. Lifetime updates are included for as long as NateUI operates, and your right to use downloaded source code never expires.

What you may do

You may use and modify the source code to build and ship commercial websites, SaaS applications, internal tools, and permitted client projects, and keep your downloaded copy indefinitely. End users of your shipped product do not need their own NateUI license.

Restrictions

• You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, or publish paid Pro or template source code — modified or unmodified — on its own, including in a public open-source repository, competing component library, UI kit, starter kit, or template marketplace.
• You may not build a product whose primary purpose is to let end users assemble interfaces from NateUI components or templates (such as a page builder, design tool, or low-code/no-code platform).
• You may not share your account, CLI machine sessions, or MCP license keys outside the developers covered by your license tier, or bypass access checks or MCP rate limits.
• You may not use NateUI source code to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine-learning models for external release; use within internal developer coding tools (such as IDE assistants, Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex working on your codebase) is permitted.

Ownership and sample content

NateUI retains all intellectual property rights in the source code, design system, documentation, and brand. You receive a license to use the source, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property. Sample text, avatars, and third-party logos shown in previews are for demonstration only and are not licensed for use in your shipped product.

Payments, taxes, and refunds

Prices are one-time payments in US dollars. Payments and any applicable sales tax or VAT are collected and remitted by LemonSqueezy as merchant of record. Because paid plans deliver immediate access to source code, purchases are final except as set out in our Refund Policy.

Disclaimer

Free components are provided “as is” under the MIT License. For paid plans, we warrant that the source code conforms substantially to its documentation at delivery; otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, all products and services are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NateUI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost data). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Termination

Material breach of these Terms (such as redistributing Pro source or sharing access credentials outside your license scope) terminates your license and revokes account, CLI, and MCP access. End products already deployed in production prior to termination remain grandfathered provided the breach ceases.

Governing law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. We may update these Terms by posting the revised version on this page. Questions: support@nateui.com.
